FCKH8 is not a charity. They are not a lobbying group, they offer no refuge.

They are a company. A store.

They are literally cashing in on social injustice in order to make a quick buck, hardly doing anything to actually help LGBT* people. They’re no better than the yogurts who’d donate a measly ten cents to breast cancer research as a form of advertisement.

(all while, by the way, promoting a really shallow and stereotypical view of what LGBT* people are like to outsiders.)

I’m really glad people are finally starting to realize how ridiculous this whole thing is and how selfish the company owners are.

If you want to help LGBT* folks, spend the money you would’ve spent on one of their shirts and donate it to a local youth shelter. Here’s one in New York City aimed specifically for young LGBT* people,  $50 pays for a full set of clothes for someone who needs it, which would buy two shirts for yourself on FCKH8.com.
